Any Member with a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest in a matter should withdraw from the meeting when the matter is under consideration and should notify the Democratic Services Officer in attendance that they are withdrawing as they have such an interest. If the Disclosable Pecuniary Interest is not entered on the register of Members interests the Monitoring Officer must be notified of the interest within 28 days.

Visit to BIOGEN Anaerobic Digester facility in Dummer Hampshire.

Following the discussion on the benefit of Anaerobic Digestors (last meeting) – 3 members of the committee (Cllr Sandra Ingham, Cllr Ray Mossom and Cllr Tony Virgo) arranged a visit to the Biogen Facility in Hampshire on Friday 3 September 2021. The members were taken on a tour of the facility and were able to see at first hand the process of converting food waste/crops into Electricity which powered twothousand houses and supplies valuable fertilisers for Wheat and oil seed rape.  A supplementary report to follow.
